Arrival in Luang Prabang

Upon arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your centrally located hotel.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Luang Prabang is widely regarded as one of Southeast Asia’s best-preserved historic towns. Nestled between the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers, the city captivates visitors with its elegant temples, French colonial architecture, rich Buddhist traditions, and tranquil atmosphere.

After time to relax, begin your exploration with a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, once home to the Lao royal family. The museum houses an impressive collection of royal artefacts and historical treasures that reflect the country’s rich cultural heritage.

Continue to Wat Mai, one of Luang Prabang’s most beautiful temples, admired for its richly decorated gilded façade.

Later, climb the 328 steps to the summit of Mount Phousi, where spectacular panoramic views of the old town, the Mekong River, and the surrounding mountains await—an unforgettable setting to enjoy the sunset.
