Continue exploring Luang Prabang aboard a traditional tuk tuk, winding through quiet streets lined with beautifully preserved French colonial buildings. Learn about the city’s fascinating colonial past while passing historic landmarks, including the former French school, French hospital (now the elegant Amantaka Hotel), the former residence of a wealthy Chinese merchant (now Le Calao Restaurant), and former royal residences, now transformed into boutique heritage hotels.

Next, visit Wat Sene, Luang Prabang’s oldest monastery, followed by the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, widely regarded as the finest temple in Laos. Admire its graceful architecture and the famous “Tree of Life”
