After an early breakfast, transfer to the railway station and board the Laos-China high-speed train to Luang Prabang, enjoying scenic views of the Lao countryside along the way.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel before beginning your exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage city, widely regarded as one of the best-preserved historic towns in Southeast Asia.

Visit the Royal Palace Museum, home to an impressive collection of royal artefacts that illustrate the country’s rich cultural heritage.

Continue to Wat Sene, Luang Prabang’s oldest monastery, and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, celebrated as the finest example of classical Lao temple architecture, famous for its exquisite “Tree of Life” glass mosaic.

Gain deeper insight into Laos’ diverse ethnic communities at the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre, which showcases the country’s traditional cultures, handicrafts, and way of life.

In the late afternoon, climb Mount Phousi to enjoy panoramic views over the old town, the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers, and the surrounding mountains at sunset.

End the day browsing the vibrant Luang Prabang Night Market, where local artisans sell handmade textiles, silverware, and traditional crafts.

After breakfast, embark on a leisurely cruise upstream along the Mekong River, offering beautiful views of riverside villages and forested hills.

Your first destination is the sacred Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes have been placed by pilgrims over the centuries, creating one of Laos’ most important spiritual sites.

Continue to Ban Xang Hai, famous for producing traditional Lao rice whisky (Lao Lao), where you can observe the distillation process and sample the local spirit.

Cross the Mekong to Ban Xieng Mene, followed by a short climb to Wat Chom Phet, an ancient temple offering one of the finest panoramic views overlooking Luang Prabang and the Mekong River.

On your return to the city, visit Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xieng Lek, villages renowned for their traditional silk weaving and handmade Saa (mulberry bark) paper, where centuries-old artisan skills continue to thrive.
