Arrival in Vientiane

Upon arrival at Wattay International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel.

As the capital of Laos, Vientiane offers a unique blend of traditional Lao culture and French colonial charm, creating a relaxed atmosphere unlike any other capital in Southeast Asia.

After time to refresh, begin your exploration with visits to the city’s most important cultural landmarks. Discover Wat Sisaket, the oldest surviving temple in Vientiane, renowned for its thousands of miniature Buddha images, and Haw Phra Kaew, the former royal temple that once housed the revered Emerald Buddha.

Continue to the magnificent Pha That Luang, Laos’ most sacred national monument and an enduring symbol of Buddhism and national identity. Before returning to your hotel, stop at the iconic Patuxai Victory Monument, often referred to as the “Arc de Triomphe of Vientiane.”
