Visiting Ba Khan in autumn, from the end of October is probably one of the best times to experience Ba Khan with deep blue sky, bright yellow sunshine and clear scenery. The cool climate makes you feel like you are in a land that is both strange and familiar. Strange because you probably don’t think the scenery here is like a region in a cold temperate Europe but very close to Hanoi, and familiar because of the peaceful village scenery along the foot of the mountain or along the streams.

Ba Khan is not too large but just enough to fully experience a beautiful and green steppe. From Ba Khan Village Resort, you can walk through Khan Ha hamlet of the Muong community living peacefully at the foot of the mountain, and when the sunset begins to fall, don’t miss the picturesque scene on Tay hill – the hill located west of the old Ba Khan commune.
At the foot of Tay hill is a sparsely populated community, living off agriculture and nature.
Following the trail through the mountains and corn fields, you will reach Khan Thuong hamlet, which used to be the center of the old Ba Khan commune.
From Khan Thuong, you go through the only road to Khan Ho hamlet, which is located in a small valley with large rice fields and especially here there is a very beautiful garden of Doi with tall, straight trees like a temperate forest in Europe. In the Doi flowering season, the characteristic Doi scent can be felt from afar, making you remember this place for a long time in the experience of a beautiful trip back to nature, with the beautiful things in life.
Visit Ba Khan at least once when it is cold.
